I am not temperamental, nor am I carefree.
I am not a human, nor am I a paranormal being.
I am not a Christian, nor am I a Satanist.
I am not as I seem.


I am different, not flawed.
I am out of shape, not flabby.
I am nonconforming, not unruly.    
I am unhappy, not “emo”.
I am irrational, not crazy.
I am curious, not nosy.
I am cautious, not chicken.
I am intelligent, not nerdy.  
I am misanthropic, not traitorous.
I am not what you label me.


I have morals, not religion.
I have fear, not cowardice.
I have sarcasm, not humor.
I have family, not relatives.
I have friends, not groupies.
I have role models, not idols.
I have companions, not pets.
I have dreams, not wishes.
I have passion, not obsession.
I have my own way of life.


I am me.
I am not your assessment of me.
